Halloween is easily my favorite time of year. Choosing themed costumes for our family of 3 is something I’m going to enjoy for as long as our daughter allows it! We recently discovered the wonderful reboot of @dreamworksshera on Netflix. Once my little one decided that she would be She-Ra, the curiously empty search for a toddler-sized costume made me realize that I would have to make something on my own. I found a few pieces of inexpensive white and gold clothing, tutorials on making the crown, and an amazing shop for the sword! The costume for Glimmer was an easy online find but Swift Wind also required some creative thinking. Surprisingly, there aren’t a lot of good non-inflatable male unicorn costumes, so I got crafty with a sheep costume, wig, and toddler unicorn accessories. Thankfully everything came together and watching my daughter light up every time she puts on the costume is just icing on the pumpkin flavored cupcake! Wishing everyone an Happy Halloween!
And because I'm extra, enjoy our family collectable She-Ra cards.
