After 6 months of quarantine and the kind of free time that lets you start an entire crafting website, I found myself blessed with two freelance production jobs at the same time. While prepping, I discovered that my ol’ reliable 2012 Macbook Pro was running quite slow. I’m guessing it was the 40K photos stored on its jam-packed hard drive. Thankfully, I had a few external hard drives handy to transfer the files and clean things up. While taking a trip down memory lane, I found a folder from 2014 marked “farm trip”. I rediscovered a bunch of photos I had taken on a farm in Homestead, and somehow a few shots of divine desserts made by the incredibly talented pastry chef Hedy Goldsmith were in there too! As life seems to start speeding up again, I’ve really enjoyed taking the time to sort through memories of the days behind us.
